What I watched in February

February film round up! Okay, fair enoug it's bloody half March, but life is just getting in the way of it all. But I still did it though. I was quite prolific in watching films the last month and that makes me rather happy. I might do this on a monthly schedule from now on, it's real good fun.

I've graded them with */**/**. With * being bad/disappointing, ** being solid/okay and *** exceeding expectations or very good.

  1. Trainspotting (1996) ***
  2. T2 - Trainspotting (2017)***
  3. Ben Hur (2016)*
  4. Cry Freedom (1979)**
  5. Max Steel (2016) *
  6. Red Cliff I (2008) ***
  7. Red Cliff II (2009) **
  8. Victor Frankenstein (2015) **
  9. Dr. Strange (2015)**
  10. Moonraker (1979)**
  11. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) ***
  12. 12 Angry men (1957) ***
  13. Fight Club (1999) **
  14. Brief encounter (1945) **
  15. The way he looks (2014) *
  16. Shaun of the dead (2004) **
  17. Leon (1994) ***
  18. Modern Times (1936) ***

What have you been watching recently? Let me know!

  2. I also watched Trainspotting and T2 recently both of which I would also grade ***. I really didn't expect T2 to be good or at least as good as the first one but it really surpassed my expectations. I absolutely loved it! Fight Club is on my list of films to watch. Everyone keeps telling me I need to watch it but I still haven't got round to it yet.

I'm a new follower of yours and I just wanted to tell you that I love your blog! Yours is definitely the kind of blog that I'd go to out of my way to see if you've posted anything new! I particularly enjoy your open letters and you've got me thinking of writing something similar myself :)

  15. Oh jeez I've been watching so much lately, some of the films I've watched and loved recently though have been a lot of the Oscar-nominated films like Hidden Figures, Arrival and Lion. I thought all were brilliant films in different ways.
