What I've been reading

I love to read! But in all honesty pals, I haven't been reading an awful lot lately and that's pretty sad. I would love to do a 'What I've been reading this month', but to be frank, I just don't read enough anymore. I'm hoping to change this in the future and read more, but as of now it's just very minimal. Anyway, here are the books I've been reading lately!

Reasons to stay alive - Matt Haig
One of my favourite books and it's not the first time I've read it. I keep rereading it, because it gives me valuable life lessons and it makes me stay calm at times when I most need the calmness. It gives an insight to the mind of someone who suffers with anxiety and depression. Not only is it something that gives understanding and comfort to read about fellow sufferers, but it's also very insightful to the non-sufferer. Matt Haig describes it so well, that I think it's a must read for everyone out there.

We're all mad here - Claire Eastham
I've just finished reading this for the second time and it's so, so good. What I love about Claire's book - which is all about social anxiety - is how brutally honest it is. It tells you in the ins- and outs of living with social anxiety without the medical terminology. It's witty, informing and honest. A must read for, well, everyone!

A mindfulness guide for the Frazzled - Ruby Wax
This book has taught me a lot about myself and how I need to take some time for myself every now and again. It's not easy to accept thing about yourself, let alone work on yourself. This book has enabled me to take some time out my day, week or month. Take that time I need and work on myself. It is of great importance that you are rested and at peace with yourself. This book has definitely taught me that.

What have you been reading lately? Any recommendations?

Marc
